NEWBORN
When should I book?
In your second trimester! I highly recommend getting on my calendar sooner rather than later! I am usually booked out 6-8 weeks in advance. When you book your due date, that ensures that I will have availability for your session!

​Babies don’t always come on their due date, how does booking a newborn session work?
Babies rarely come when you expect them too! I highly recommend booking your newborn session while you are still pregnant. That way I can make sure I will have availability for your session when baby arrives. I put your due date in my calendar just so I have an idea of when baby will be coming, and then once baby arrives please let me know within a day or two and we will schedule your session within 5-10 days after birth!
Do I need to bring anything for my newborn session?
I pride myself on creating a custom session for each and every client! This includes all of the setups, outfits, and props! Now if you have something particular or sentimental that you want me to use, absolutely bring it! The only things I need you to bring for your baby is extra diapers, pacifier, and a bottle!
My baby is 2 weeks old already, can I book a newborn session?
Yes! While I prefer new babies, I have worked with babies up to 8 weeks old for a newborn session. With older babies, not all poses are possible, and wrapped sessions are a much better option! But you can absolutely still have newborn pictures if they are over 10 days old.
Can we do family and sibling pictures during our newborn session?
Yes! All of my collections include family pictures if you would like at no additional fee! (Includes wrapped sessions) For siblings, it works best for them to come later (1-2 hours) after the pictures of the baby are done if possible! That way they don't have to wait, and they are much happier to do their picture.
How can I book a Newborn Session?
Fill out the Newborn Booking Form, once that is completed you will receive an invoice for you $100 non-refundable deposit to book your session. Once that is paid your session is booked!
MATERNITY
How many weeks should I be for maternity pictures?
It's best to do maternity pictures between 30-35 weeks in your pregnancy!
When should I book my maternity pictures?
I am usually booked about 6-8 weeks out, I always recommend getting on my schedule sooner rather than later!
Can my husband and family be in my maternity pictures?
Yes of course! Maternity sessions are better when you include your family! (in my opinion)
How does the client closet work?
I have a large collection of maternity gowns that fit a wide range of sizes. They are all included with Maternity Packages for you to wear during your session.
What locations do you use?
I have multiple options for locations! I use my parents ranch 20 miles west of Gillette, land off of force road, Downtown Gillette, McManaman and Camplex park. Maternity sessions can also be in studio. If you have your own location or a different location in mind just let me know! (travel over 30 miles outside of Gillette is .50 cents a mile)
Do you have any Maternity and Newborn Packages?
My Deluxe Newborn Collection includes a Free Petite Maternity Session, if you would like to upgrade it to a Full Maternity Session you can pay the difference between the Petite and the Regular.
FRESH 48
What is a Fresh 48 Session?
Fresh 48 sessions take place within 48 hours after baby is born! Sessions can take place in the hospital (if allowed) or in home. These sessions are more of a lifestyle session documenting you and your family with your newborn baby!
What is the difference between a fresh 48 and a Newborn Session?

Fresh 48 Sessions are not posed, they are a lifestyle session, and take place in the hospital or in your home. Newborn sessions take place in studio, with posed baby and family photos.
How do I book a Fresh 48 Session?
Fill out the Fresh 48 Booking form, and pay your $100 non-refundable deposit to secure your session, let me know if you would like to have your session in the hospital or in your home. When you fill out the booking form you will enter your due date, which lets me have an idea of when baby is coming. Once baby is born let me know right away so we can schedule your session within 48 hours!
MILESTONE & FIRST YEAR
What is the difference between milestone and first year packages?
The Milestone package consists of two sessions, one at (6 to 9) months (it is best if they can sit on their own for this session) and a custom cake smash when they turn one. Baby's first year package consists of four sessions at 3, 6, 9 , and a custom cake smash at one.
What do I need to bring to the session?
Outfits are provided for all milestone and cake smash sessions, unless you have something specific you want your child to wear all you need to bring is an extra diaper and a bottle!
What is a Custom Cake Smash?
A custom cake smash can be any theme of your choosing! The cake smash session is the 12 month ( 1 year session) cake smash sessions include posed photos, a custom cake (smash) , and a bath. All outfits are provided.
How do I pay for Milestone of First Year Sessions?
$100 Deposit is required to book, this goes towards the final cost of your sessions, it will be taken off of your last session (cake smash). The total package cost is divided between your sessions, for the milestone package it is split in half, for First Year package it is divided by 4 sessions.
How do I book a milestone or first year package?
To book your milestone or first year package, you need to fill out the booking form, and pay the $100 non refundable deposit. It is clients responsibility to book session at least 3 weeks in advance (4-6 weeks is better). Deposit is taken off of your last session (cake smash).
CAKE SMASH
What is the difference between a regular cake smash and a custom cake smash?
A custom cake smash can be any theme or your choice, I can create pretty much anything! It also comes with 5 more images than a regular cake smash. The regular cake smash, you can choose from my collection of themes.
What do I need to bring to my cake smash session?
An extra diaper! Everything else is provided for your session. Unless you have something specific you want your child to wear you don't need to worry about bringing anything!
Are cake smash sessions only with the cake?
No! I do posed pictures first, usually with two different outfits, then cake, and then a bath at the end!
Is the cake included?
Yes! Both regular and custom cake smashes include a custom cake. If you would like to bring your own cake you can do that as well, and have a $50 print credit instead of the cake.
FAMILY
When do you do family pictures?
I do family photos May through October, I only do family sessions outdoors, and with Wyoming Weather I have found that these months are the best for outdoor sessions!
Do you do Studio Family Sessions?
No, I only do my family collections outdoors. My family sessions are not just standing in a posed picture with your family, I like to have you interact as a family and be able to move!

SENIORS
When do senior photos have to be submitted to yearbook?
CCHS & TBHS have an October 1st deadline to submit yearbook pictures. I submit your selected yearbook phot to your school. The last sessions I take for seniors is around September 25th to allow time to submit photos to yearbook.
When should I book my Senior Session?
The spring of your junior year is best! The last senior sessions I do is the middle of September, in order to ensure I have availability for your session it is best to book before you leave school your junior year!

I do offer Mountain Sessions every summer as well that doesn't have a travel fee (they do go quick!) But they can be used for Senior Sessions as well!
OTHER
Do you offer Mini Sessions?
Yes! I offer seasonal, and specific themed mini sessions. They are only offered on specific dates, to stay up to date on what mini sessions are available subscribe to our email list!
Do you offer Headshots?
I do offer basic headshots, but I do not do branding photos. I can recommend other photographers who do branding photography if that is what you need!
Do you photograph Weddings?
I no longer offer weddings, but I can recommend some other great photographers who do weddings! I do offer couples sessions if you need engagement photos! I am always down for a fun couples session!
Who is the client closet available too?
Gowns can be worn for any session! You do not have to be pregnant to wear any of them! I also have a client closet for newborn - one that are included in all newborn and milestone and cake smash sessions!
